San Antonio Nursing Home is a not for profit aged care facility in the Sydney suburb of Ryde, which is funded and run entirely by the Italian Community. In 2014 Restifa & partners Managed the design, approval, and delivery of a 62 bed extension to the existing 50 bed facility. This project required careful planning so as to maintain existing operations, including a high care dementia ward, while delivering a new high end nursing home. The project included a new consolidated kitchen and laundry, new administration offices, new gardens, and a new visitor parking area.

Construction was not without its challenges, as the original builder had to be terminated due to non-performance. However with careful management Restifa & Partners worked through the legal issues and were able to complete the project for the client with a new builder and architect.

Restifa & Partners were also tasked with the application and negotiation for a $6 Million Government Load which assisted with the project funding.
